Giro Manoyan of the ARF-Dashnaktsutyun will be holding a lecture titled “Armenia and her political challenges” at the Navasartian Centre on 3rd November 2011.

Everybody is welcome to attend and to ask questions of Giro, and it is an excellent opportunity to get up-to-speed on Armenian politics, challenges and the work of political parties.

For 120 years, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation has helped shape Armenia and its people both in the country as well as the Diaspora. Always acting with the integrity of all Armenians and the country in mind, the ARF has and forever will continue to fight for a Free, Independent, and United Armenia.

Join us in celebrating this milestone through the two events below.

Recitals of articles by youths followed by the keynote speech by Viken Hovsepian, a member of the ARF Bureau – the highest worldwide executive body of the ARF.

Well-known singer Artour Apkarian (and band) from Canada will be performing throughout the evening.

AYF Manchester Trip

On Sunday 24 October, AYF London is organising a trip to Manchester to visit the Holy Trinity Armenian Church and learn about its history and that of the Manchester Armenians as well as their links to the start of the industrial revolution and textile industry. The trip will conclude with a visit to Manchester city centre and dinner at a local restaurant specialising in Armenian cuisine.

All AYF members are welcome to attend. People should meet outside the Navasartian Centre at 7.30am for a prompt start.
